Thanks for testing Faro. You're here early — and the most useful thing you can do is be brutally honest. We'd rather hear it from you now than from a 1-star review later.
What Faro is
Faro is a community app for LGBTQ+ people, friends, and allies — a place to discover local groups and events, share in a community feed, and start real conversations. It's not a dating app. If it ever feels like one, that's a bug — tell us.
Please try all of these
- Sign up, confirm your age, set your location, and build your profile (photos, headline, pronouns, interests)
- Browse the community feed — post something, like and comment
- Find and join a group; post in a group; open a group conversation
- Events — create a public event and a private one, invite people to both, RSVP to someone else's, and chat in the event's group chat (try sending a photo)
- Search — use the search icon in the header to find people by first name, last name, username, or city, and to find public events by name. Results should appear as you type.
- Sort the feed — try Most Liked and Most Commented, and the time windows (Today / This Week / This Month)
- Tap any photo — in the feed, a group, a chat, or an event — to open it full screen
- Send a Wave to someone, then start a direct message with text and a photo
- Try the safety tools: block and report a profile or post
- Edit your profile and change your Settings (light/dark mode, etc.)
- Poke at the empty states — what does a brand-new user with no groups, events, or friends see?
Be critical — tell us specifically
- Where did you get confused, stuck, or annoyed?
- What felt slow, broken, or ugly?
- Did anything crash or behave unexpectedly?
- What's missing that you expected to be there?
- Anything that felt unclear, unsafe, or off-brand for a welcoming community?
How to send feedback

Take a screenshot in the app, then tap "Share Beta Feedback" — or open the TestFlight app and tap Send Feedback. Screenshots and details come straight to us, and crashes are reported automatically.
